A Film For Every Day of Women’s History Month

Representation of women within the arts, and especially in film, is regularly used as the way that society ‘measures’ the progress of feminism; we only have to look back at the 2020 awards season to see an example of this. In this analysis, I think that it is crucial that we utilise Women’s History Month to celebrate the cornucopia of films made for, by, or about women of all classes, abilities, sexualities, races, and genetic make-ups.
